Welcome to all those people who are new here. We’ve been doing this for ten years now, and this is our four hundred and fifty fifth Sunday Sanzenkai. Impressive! We’ve been using the same format, the same structure, all this time – a simple thing, again and again and again. No progress! That’s Zen! (laughter)


If you think you have achieved progress in your practice, then you’re going to a different place, away from Zen. Where you are is exactly where you should be. No progress! We learn to return to the present, to this moment. We’re not going away from it…
