Welcome to Jikishoan Zen Buddhist Community in Melbourne and Ballarat, Victoria, Australia.

Our Soto Zen teacher is Ekai Korematsu Osho, who has practised and taught Zen Buddhism in Japan, the USA and India for over 25 years. Jikishoan's programs are conducted in the spirit of Bendoho - the original way of practice as prescribed by Dogen Zenji in the 13th Century.

Jikishoan Zen Buddhist Community conducts Zen meditation, retreats, dharma talks and orientation courses. Newcomers with an interest in Zen meditation and practice in daily life are always welcome.
